Do you choose to hide or to truly experience? This new drawing is finished and can be added to my project “feeling”. In this project I try to capture the unwritten words and unseen connections that we as humans behold, but that are unseen to the bare eye. 
 
The gold in this drawing represents those exact connections, those feelings that we as humans sometimes are scared to see. Connections and feelings that we might fear for what they could cause, leaving us running from them. But by acknowledging those feelings instead of hiding from them, aren’t we able to find a deeper meaning of us, of who we are? Then why are we as humans scared to truly feel, to truly experience? The way I see it, we can either hide in that shell forever, never knowing the “new”, or we can try to break out that shell and start to truly experience.
